Welcome!
You have entered the Career Central Institute website - the officially licensed training site of the National Certified Pediatric Technicians Institute and Association.

Our Mission
To help proactive thinkers working in the medical, social, educational and legal profession, like you, improve their career opportunities, enhance their professional career choices, and improve their academic knowledge and skills.

Whether you are at an "entry level" or have already achieved a relatively high level of professional accomplishments, your career is your best asset and should continually be updated, refreshed and current.

What We Do
The National CPT Institute offers a multi- dimensional career specialist, for highly motivated child care personnel and advocates wishing to increase their knowledge of the whole child. After completing this program and meeting the National CPT Institute requirements, this new Certified Pediatric Technician will become the bridge between parents, medical, legal professionals, educators and social workers in assisting with the needs of these special children.

The Reason

The National CPT Institute professional team has witnessed child study teams and professionals meet, develop IEP's, Care Plans and interventions for challenged children and then settle for lower expectations. This happens because there is a disconnect between child care associates, advocates and Para- legals when transferring the "plan" into reality. Why is there a disconnect?

There is a disconnect because they lack the foundation and basic elemental rationale necessary to link the cause and effect of disease and chronic illness, think logically and draw the conclusions that improve their interventions, and build on their skills for the next child under their care.

Why National CPT Institute?
At the academic learning center (Career Central) of National CPT Institute, education works. We help you prepare for the real challenges you'll face in a pediatric environment by bringing the "real world" and the care of the "whole child" into our courses. At Career Central you will earn more than a certificate. You'll receive a career education that can lead to success and the opportunity to join the association as a Certified Pediatric Technician or a Professional Pediatric Technician for those already holding an industry license.

Reputable
Career Central is accredited and licensed to offer the CPT program by the National CPT Institute and approved by The New Jersey Board of Education.

Whether you are a physician, case manager, life planner, RN, school district/college, educational attorney or a parent looking for assistance, the CPT course graduates are right for you!
